Sissela Malmstrom was the architect on the complete remodel of my Palo Alto "Eichler" home. She was a joy to work with and did a wonderful job on the redesign of my 1951 house, staying true to its modern style while updating it competely. We took it back to the studs, added a dining area, reconfigured the entrance, greatly increased its energy efficiency, added a laundry area, walk in closet, master bath, and completely renovated bathrooms and kitchen. She helped keep the project on time and budget. The contractor commented on how much he liked working with her because her drawings were great. She easily got the project through the city planning department as well. All in all a wonderful partnership. She has great taste, too. Everyone, from trades people, to neighbors, to friends, to realtors when I sold it, all commented on how really nice it was.

My wife and I have worked with Sissela on several exciting projects over the years. Back in 2004/2005 we did an amazing kitchen remodel that included a built-in pizza oven back to back with an outdoor fireplace, an AGA cooker, a walk-in pantry and many additional difficult-to-implement concepts. In 2015/2016 we did a very unique master suite remodel, again implementing exciting design elements into relatively small spaces.
